About Me

Mohammad Mohammadi Davisaraee, from Davisara village, Roudsar, Guilan province – Iran was born in 1959. He became deaf when he was a little boy due to infantile paralysis. With his left ear (100% deaf) and right ear (87% deaf), he continued studying to sixth grade. When he was 13, he migrated to Kashan with his family and lived there for 12 years. He was forced to start carpet weaving in the underground of the house, with the offer of house-owner’s wife and father’s consent. He was dissatisfied to do that but he had to. He fellows assisted him to make his father content with his work with masters of carpet designing and be trained there. He was apprenticed to several eminent painters for six years until he became master in this art. His entrance into designing and painting carpets was simultaneous with his acquaintance with some fighting sports through movies. Happily in Guilan was trained by a respectable, honorable man (Master Nostatollah Aliaghaii). Finally Davisaraee went to him although he was deaf and very shameful for it, but he was welcomed warmly. After registering his name (which has a long story), he started his training until he became master and coach assistant. Also he spent one year as an apprentice to a turners workshop which was owned by his Taekwondo coach. Then he had to return to his homeland for some reasons. Then he established this sport as a coach in Kolachay and Rahimabad and began to train those who wanted to be trained in this sport. It took twelve years. It is noteworthy that he also embarked on such other works as bricklaying in line with coaching. Then he found a carpet firm and began its activity. After training 40 individuals and weaving 32 carpets by them, and a short-term success, they failed but it did not make them stop the way that had just started. After stopping the firm and separating from partners, he started to focus on designing and weaving two-faced carpet works with quite innovative motifs including history, civilization, war, peace, love, sport and …. This shall be referred to when describing his successes.
